From the first moment the couple gives us an idea of what their dream wedding is, to working with them, to sharing their story through the raw, unfiltered, and captured moments of happiness—we live for it all.
Cush and Madi’s wedding is one of the most intimate and unique we have ever seen. It was a small, private, and feel-good kind of celebration where everyone was having a great time, feeling all light and happy the way the couple wanted it to be.
The notable things about the wedding are the absence of bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the spontaneity of the reception. For the couple, they did not include bridesmaids and groomsmen because of safety concerns. They also did not stick to a long program and formalities because they wanted their reception to feel more like an intimate family dinner. As the couple puts it, “Why not skip the whole thing and go straight to the good part?”
Happy, candid, and intimate — these were Cush and Madi’s words to live by as they talk and plan about their #dreamwedding. According to Cush, Madi wanted the same vibe as Cari Bradshaw’s intimate wedding in The Sex and the City. She dreamed of a small gathering with their loved ones—very raw and filled with laughter akin to a happy family in a Coca-Cola ad. After they’ve talked about the theme and number of guests, Cush let Madi have her way with the wedding planning. We can definitely hear him saying “It’s the bride’s day after all.”
The couple runs a Vlog called Sarang Culture which is like their baby, and they thought it would be nice to include its elements. For them, the rawness of their videos fit their wedding perfectly. The Christmas elements are included because they love the season and the venues they’ve picked were already decorated for the holidays.
Cush and Madi said, “Do it! At the end of the day, it’s your wedding. You get to decide how you want it to go and who you want to be there. Besides, the smaller your wedding is, the more money you’ll have left to start your new life together.”
We love Cush and Madi’s boldness in owning their story and how their joy has reflected flash after flash, shot after shot, image after image. Take a look in their simple and private celebration and let the love, warmth, and happiness of these captured moments crack a light into your bones and remind you that dreams do come true.
