Jeremy & Mika | Batangas Wedding

If you’re planning a wedding, it’s easy to get sucked into the swirl of wedding magazines, Pinterest boards, and well-meaning friends’ advice —but let’s be honest: if you get too caught up in the little details, you can lose sight of what really matters.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen enough weddings to know that at the end of the day, what really matters is to remember how connected everyone felt to your big day: The intimacy and special connection they have with you and how light and fun the whole thing felt. And I admire how Jeremy and Mika are so grounded when it comes to making their wedding meaningful by keeping it real.

These are the reasons why Jeremy and Mika’s wedding feels like a reflection of them as a couple:

1. They kept it light and bright. We loved their wedding in the shade of light blue. With its soft hue, it’s the perfect color with a little bit of elegance, but also a lot of fun. It’s a great pick since it fits right in with nature’s more subtle hues. Above all, it created an atmosphere that feels very chill, candid, and happy—like the happy couple themselves.

2. They kept it real. Jeremy and Mika are the chillest and realest bride and groom out there! They are the type of couple who took it easy and stayed true to themselves, so they wanted their wedding to match. Here, we’ll see the bride’s kulitan with her Maid of honor and bridesmaids, the unrestrained laughter, and the joy of their families. There’s no doubt that their wedding is the true definition of CANDID!

3. They kept it intimate. The day is all about love! The wedding showcased the couple’s connection, intimacy, and bond with family and friends. It felt like they threw an awesome party at home [in a bigger venue]. Ultimately, it was a calm, comfortable, and sweet celebration!
